ChromeOS is browser-first by design. Most transfer tools ask you to install a client that either doesn't exist for ChromeOS or requires enabling Linux/Android runtimes.

Native fit for a Chromebook

Copy Cloud is a web app. Open copycloud.me, drop a file from the Files app, and share the 6-character code with any other device.

School and work Chromebooks

Managed devices often block installs, sideloading and even Drive account switching. Copy Cloud needs none of that - it's just a website.

Bidirectional

Same URL, same flow, in reverse. Send from your phone or PC, retrieve on the Chromebook in the browser's Downloads folder.
